Stayed at the Savoy Hotel last week (4/3) and fortunately had a third floor room looking over Geary Blvd on the corner of Geary and Jones (?). Was a bit tired so I wasn't in the mood for chasing anything in particular, but around 1 a.m. there was a lot of street action...on this corner in particular there were three SWs in the range of 20 to 25 years and each in the 7 to 8 range. Baalman...I haven't tried too many in SF as far as AMPs, but the one I did try out I've been going back a few times...called Sunflower Massage on Jones, near Geary....I usually visit Julie who is older than most, but is about 5'2, 100 lbs, nice rack. Dasher-read sfredbook.com for ample reviews and info on the AMPs but the most popular are Empire (on O'Farrell near Jones), Lee's (on Mission at 9th) & Golden Flower (on 2nd just below Mission). GF is a biot more pricey but generally you pay $50 at the door then a tip of between $100 & $150 ($120 usually does the trick) for everything.

Okay, I'll go first with my two favorite places.

Golden Flower is on Second and Howard. It's in a really safe neighborhood. The girls are mostly Korean, mostly great bodies and 20-30 years old. After 7 p.m. or so, there's lot to choose from: 5-10 girls sit on couches as you enter, and you just take your pick. This place is some $20 more than others (depending on your negotiating skills): if you offer $200 (including the $50 for the house), they don't argue, at $170-$180 they usually argue somewhat. Some poster claim to pay only $150-$160. The rooms have closed doors, of course, and private showers. The girls always have a good attitude (unless you bargain hard).

Sunflower is on Jones and O'Farrell. This is in the Tenderloin, which is a lot safer than it used to be. $50 to the house and then $100 to the girl usually with little or no arguing. I've had Jenny, a tall Chinese, and Wendy, a tall skinny Vietnamese. Both are very friendly and talkative. Some posters claim to pay only $50+$80. Private showers, new agey decor in the rooms. Kinda kool.

I've also tried Sun Spa once (Geary and Larkin): $50+$100: good attitude from the only Vietnamese girl there (most were Korean).

Golden Gate on Mission is horrible. I went twice, saw only old, ugly women, paid $50+$100. Yuck!

Jeff- $150 to $170 is pretty standard for AMPs in the Bay Area. $50 for the house and the rest to the girl. Lee's is on Mission and 9th. Enter in through the side door through the parking lot. Open the gate that says "no trespassing" and they'll buzz you in. Go sign in at the front desk and you'll see the lovely ladies on the pink couches. I usually pay the girl $150 at the end of my session. Here is the real story about the bust. The cops are clueless about this site. As far as I can tell WE were all clueless about the places that were busted. THey were never on this board or I would have been trying them out. Here is the story.

In the Monday Palo Alto Daily News they reported a bust of three massage parlors that were all in Palo Alto. WHY DID I NEVER SEE THEM? That sucks. I would have like to try them out. They were all Chinese women compared to mostly always Vietnamese. 20 different women.

They were:
Japanese Accupuncture Center at 3517 Alma St. The Hong Kong Health Center and Oriental Health Center, both at 2290 Birch St.

It was busted because a City utility worker making a routine utility check thought it odd there were no accupuncture needles in the place and made a report. That was February. Since then they investigated and sent in an undercover cop to get a solicitation. They turned the phones off so the owners would come in and they busted them. A husband ad wife team and one other person who lived in East Palo Alto.

One chick was busted "in the middle of a sex act" and they let the guy off scott free for cooperating in details of the establishment and how it all works. They quoted the normal routine you would read about here: $40 for 1/2hr $60 for hr and tips starting at $50. They chicks get $10 for a $40 massage and $20 for the hour. That is interesting because I figured the house kept it all and if we didnt tip they dont get a thing.

They said while they were in the middle of the bust, 20 men came in and the cops just took their name and let them leave.

i am bummed we didnt know about them soon enough to get a try.

Mike Hock, Don't mean to be rude by butting in on your post to BlankNameCruiser but I see you mentioned La Villa Zaragoza. It is a nice Hotel behind the Jai aLai. They have room service or you can chow at a cheap but good 24/7 cafe on the corner called Ricardo's (I think that's the name). There is also an AM/PM close by for an emergency purchase of condoms plus a couple of MP nearby and a gentleman's clu around the corner. The club looks like a house but I have never been in it nor have I seen any posts for it. Sorry but don't know the name.
You gotta be careful with the hotel clerks and check if they charge you for one of the more expensive rooms but put you in a cheaper room. Weekend rates there are higher than during the week so when you call them on why you are being charged more than you are supposed to they usually say they have made a mistake. Most of the clerks are okay but taht skinny guy at night tried to overcharge me twice so I don't think it is a simple mistake with him. I think he gets in at 11 PM so if you check in before that you should have no problems. The owner of this Hotel has a brother who owns the Nelson which is an older place but is within walking distance of the AB/CC and the rest of the places you want to go to. I don't know TJ that well but have stayed at both. I stayed at the Nelson last time, room 523 is one of the larger rooms with a decent size bathroom... they let me look at a few... the others have real small bath rooms.. I've stayed a few times at La Villa Zaragoza. The rooms are more like US hotels. You can park your car there. The suites im the back cost $87, have a large bathroom, two beds, a front area with kitgchenette and sofa. The cheaper rooms start at around $39 but like I said, the skinny night clerk tried to charge me $59 (540 Pesos) on 2 separate occasions in the middle of the week! Avoid Room 108. It smells like someone spilled bong water on the rug!TJ is cool and I plan to go back but like anywhere else, keep alert at all times!

my friend. you can walk there. the area where Lee is located looks ify but it is actually very safe. i used to live just two block from there near the bill graham auditorium. bear in mind that Lee is located right next to bank of america (1/2 block) and city hall (2 blocks). so don't worry just walk there unless you are not sure where you are at. also, if you walk along market street, you might be bothered by some street pandlers asking for change. that's about it.

having lived in san francisco for many yrs (although i no longer live there now), i can atest that all s.f. (except bayview/hunters point) is very safe. honestly, san francisco virtually has no poor people :) until the techno depression, an average apartment (one bedroom) cost about 1500/month. so, unless you make good money, it is difficult to live there. i have lived in detroit, st. louis, austin, dallas, san antonio, denver and portland oregon, in terms of climate, lifestyle, culture, food and diversity of people.

I have to respectfully disagree with some of what you said. In my experience, there are many providers in the amp world who are "normal" and aren't "messed up in the head". We tend to think that away about them because in our culture fs providers usually ARE messed up. In our culture this kind of activity is seen as the last ditch desperate act of the dregs of society. A veteran Sunnyvale police officer is facing federal conspiracy charges for allegedly helping two brothels avoid police raids, find fleeing prostitutes and collect tens of thousands of dollars in bogus immigration fees from their illegal immigrant employees.

David L. Miller, 40, a crime scene investigator, defensive tactics instructor and longtime SWAT team member, was arrested Monday and arraigned Tuesday in U.S. District Court in San Jose. Besides conspiracy, the federal charges against him include interference with commerce by threats and violence, interstate travel in aid of a racketeering enterprise, and conspiring to conceal and shield illegal immigrants.

Four other people, residents of San Francisco and Mountain View, were arrested along with Miller on the same charges, plus money laundering, according to court documents. All are charged with what court documents describe as a scheme to smuggle women from Korea to the United States, charge them tens of thousands of dollars for the trip and then force them to work as prostitutes at the two South Bay brothels until the debt was repaid. In that scheme, the documents allege, Miller provided protection from police raids and helped recover women who fled their debt and the sex trade.

The arrests concluded a two-year investigation into allegations of human smuggling, prostitution and police corruption that began with a tip to Sunnyvale police, who quickly handed the investigation over to the FBI once they realized that one of their own was accused, said Sunnyvale Capt. Byron Pipkin.

"We're shocked, and most of the people here are devastated that this could occur and that Officer Miller could be involved in anything like this," said Pipkin. "We realize that we function and we are only able to do our job if we have the trust of the community, and this is a violation of that trust."

Miller, a 15-year veteran, was a patrol officer on the 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. shift throughout the period of his alleged criminal activity, Pipkin said. Among other duties, that shift would have required him to visit bars and nightclubs, Pipkin said -- including two sometimes-rowdy Korean "hostess bars": the Crystal Palace Nightclub and Ok Yeo Bong -- Korean for "Beautiful Woman on a Mountain.".

That was the beginning of Miller's slide, according to recorded conversations and investigators' statements included in a federal criminal complaint filed in San Jose on Monday and unsealed Tuesday.

Both clubs were legitimate businesses offering food, drink and conversation with attractive women to a mostly Asian male clientele, according to court documents. But clients at both could purchase sex on request, according to investigators who used covert recordings, informants and search warrants to investigate both establishments.

Neighboring business owners of Crystal Palace, which sits in the middle of a small strip mall, were surprised at the allegations Tuesday.

"I didn't know what was happening there," said Mary Nguyen, owner of Sunny Nails. "I don't know because they were open so late."

Benito Gonzalez, who works at Bernardo Shoe Repair, said the news came as a shock to many workers in the strip mall.

"I'm surprised," he said. "I never expected something like this in the area. I knew it was a bar, but that was it."

According to the affidavit, Ok Yeo Bong owner Sang Ye Han, 42 -- who has a record for inducing Korean women to enter the United States illegally and who was also arrested Monday along with her co-owner Robert Kwong Wong -- told an undercover agent in April that she had gotten to know a police officer named "David" seven or eight years ago when he would come to her bar and "harass" her.

Han told the agent that she later had spent time with "David" and "educated him about the Korean culture," explaining that if she were shut down, somebody would take her place. Soon, Han said, she was giving gifts and girls to her uniformed friend, eventually paying him $2,000, according to the court documents.

In return, "David" allegedly would tip Han to forthcoming raids and overlook illegal activity at the club, she said, according to the undercover agent. Before long, Han told the agent, other hostess bar owners were clamoring for the officer's services.

One of those bars was the Crystal Palace, according to the court documents, which came under investigation in April 2000 after a former employee contacted police.

The former employee told police that club owners Sue Yun Song, 43, and Roger K. Li, 50 -- both arrested Tuesday -- were smuggling Korean women into the country, charging them thousands of dollars, then forcing them to work as prostitutes.

The tipster also said the club employed Miller, paying him in cash and sex, and that the owners would contact him at the main Sunnyvale switchboard or through his personal cellular phone.

According to the court documents, Song told a police informant that she would charge the women $20,000 to $30,000 each to get them into the United States from Korea. The women would have to work at her club to pay off the debt. A typical prostitution "date" would cost $600, but the woman would see only about $50 -- the rest would go toward her debt, court documents said.

Most women needed about six months to pay off the debt, according to the court documents. But from time to time, a woman would try to flee her debt. That is when Song would bring in Miller, court documents said.

On one occasion, Miller tipped the clubs off to a police raid, and the women were hustled off to a Sunnyvale home on Selo Drive, one of the residences for the hostesses.

Miller allegedly accompanied Song and Han to Hawaii and Las Vegas to find women who had fled their debt. He encouraged them to pay up using a simple technique that Miller himself described during a recorded conversation included in the affidavit.

"All's (sic) they have to do is see me," Miller said, according to the court documents. "As soon as they see me, they say they want to pay."

Well I was totally ripped off at MSC last Tuesday night by Alana (called herself Alyssa that night). Very small and petite dark hairred girl about 4'11" and pretty young about early 20's I would say.

All she would say back was that she showed me the meter and apparently she thought that was okay. It is now that I realized each "30:00" on the meter meant about 10 minutes so the rate per hour would have been $240.00 just for the booth.

She wouldn't back down and ended up getting really hostile. When I complained to management it took them 15 minutes to figure out who she was as the bouncer in the back was covering for her. After about another 15 minutes of arguing back in forth in front of the manager, his only answer (he believed me) was to make her "complete the show". Well try to "complete a show" with a dancer that has just ripped you off and you complained to her manager. No way. Chocked it up to a learning experience but hope no one else has to do this. As we were looking for Alana another dancer came up to me and commented after I told her what happened that wasn't unusual around there.

Did go the next night to New Century near O'Farrell Steet and had a great time though. The usual ATM attitude towards customers but the deals struck were adhered to which is all we can really ask, isn't it???

I think that what happened is that when the dotCOM boom was in full swing the girls basically got greedy and the management didn't care what they promised as long as the cash was rolling in.

Why bother with such a mercenary rip off joint when there are better and cheaper places? So they may not have got to the stage (yet) where they are ripping off their old customers but why bother to take the risk?

The problem is that the Hos at the MSC ain't to be trusted. Even if you think you have a deal they are almost certain to break it. Why bother with the hassle? Your chances of picking up a real girl in a singles bar are way higher than getting laid at the MSC and you can be certain it will take less persuasion.

Listen, I posted about the MSC in July. I am no shill, just someone with many years of experience at the place. The people who talk about being ripped off there are not necessarily wrong, they just aren't weathered. You have to know how to play the game there and at any joint. Boys, if you expect your honest intentions are going to get you anywhere, then you are easy pickins. Most likely you buy shit on cable shopping channels and Rolexes on the street.
MSC is the place to get it on. Yes, the quality and the mercenary attitude will change from woman to woman and day to day. HOWEVER, go there without being loaded on booze or drugs a couple times and just scope it out. Enjoy seeing the pussy and getting a free feel here and there and you'll catch on. Enjoy a lap without thinking the girl's in love with you. She isn't and never will be. Enjoy the fantasy and stop being Opie from Mayberry.
I'm a long-timer at the MSC and I wish I were the management because of the many dollars I've put into the place.

If you like Chinese\Korean\Viet, learn 300 words of their language and you will be pleasantly surprised what opportunities open up.

You will be able to pick up on them in establishments other than out-and-out AMPs.

I am completely out of the white girl loop. I miss it sometimes but I prefer the asians for a number of reasons.

Stay away from the streetwalkers, especially caucasian. They are desperate junkies who will never tell you they are nursing a running sore or two. It's not worth it.

So basically you agree here by this statement that MSC is a rip-off joint. Your advice is not to believe what the girls there tell you they will do for the money that you give them, and stick to copping some feels here and there and enjoying the laps.

If that scenario is your bag then so be it and enjoy yourself, but there are many out there myself included that look for higher mileage and greater adventures.

And there are other SCs and MPs out there that give you honest value for your buck and perform the services that they have agreed to, unlike most of the "talent" at MSC. Just look at the ROB lists that several have compiled on SF Red Book and Tuscl.com. Must be about 75-80% of all the girls working there. The difference is the management and whether or not they care about their girls doing ripoffs or not.

So while you pay $19 to get in the door at MSC, $10 to get in the back, $20 per lap (what, about 5 or 6 of them to keep you busy for an hour?) for your "fantasy experiences", and end up with a tab of about $130-$150, I will go elsewhere and get FS for about that or perhaps slightly more.

As for your comment about "falling in love" with a lapper, get real. I have seen no one here that expects that.

The best thing about this site and others like it is the ability of hobbyists to compare and report on providers and their experiences. This helps others to avoid the ROBS, and indirectly keeps the providers at least a tad more honest as they experience a falling off of business in their fleecing scams.

Adventurous, I have mixed feelings about the strips.

As much as I love an environment of rockin' music, and lithe, well-toned women writhing naked under the lights, I get a little impatient with the hard sell.

The atmosphere in a good strip club is what it's about for me. I love to get half-drunk and kick back and watch the show.

Monday's - Well now then you and I do agree on agenda after all. That's why it's important for us all to compare notes and rule out ROBS that abound at places like MSC. Then we can minimize the number of hobbyists that will be played by them.
