Police crack down on prostitution in hotels near Philadelphia International Airport

By Allison Steele

Inquirer Staff Writer

Police are targeting prostitutes and pimps who operate out of hotels near Philadelphia International Airport, saying the activity leads to robberies and other crimes.

On Thursday, police announced the arrests of six alleged prostitutes and three men accused of working with them. All were charged with prostitution and criminal solicitation.

The arrests were made in the same hotel, which police declined to identify, but Philadelphia Capt. Daniel MacDonald said several other airport hotels had reported similar problems.

Posing as johns, police officers called phone numbers advertising escort services on Craigslist and other websites and met with the alleged prostitutes. Police are looking at ways to target johns as the investigation continues, and they will conduct stings in other areas of the city.

"The message for these people is that you never know where we're going to be," said Philadelphia Lt. Charles Green, commander of the Vice Squad.

A quick glance on Craigslist and other sites turns up no shortage of advertisements that seem to be for escort services, offering half-hour and hour-long encounters for $50 to $150. On one day, police counted 38 women on three websites who advertised escort services near the airport, MacDonald said.

In recent months, there have been several robberies and one fatal shooting connected to the activity at the hotels, Green said. Because most prostitution-related robberies are not reported, police said, it is safe to assume that more such crimes were happening.

In one recent robbery, a woman got a client into what Green called a "compromising position," then knocked on the door to signal her male companion. The two then robbed the man at knifepoint, police said.

"Some of these johns become easy marks for robberies," Green said.

According to police, a prostitute and her boyfriend deemed Kalif Lewis, 26, of North Philadelphia, such a mark in December when Lewis met with the woman at the Residence Inn at Marriott on Island Avenue.

When Lewis left, police said, he realized he was missing money and returned with a gun. The woman's boyfriend, Tyre West, 28, intervened and was fatally shot in the abdomen, authorities said. Lewis was later arrested.

"We hear a lot that prostitution is a victimless crime," Green said, "but we've got people getting killed."

The hotels are working with police to prevent the prostitution rings from operating.

"These hotels don't want this going on," MacDonald said. "They've got hotel guests being held hostage by this."

Arrested in the recent sting were Jennifer Henderson, 28, of Bridgeton, N.J.; Laura Holland, 43, of South Philadelphia; Christine Hunter, 21, of Drexel Hill; Edith Massie, 44, of Germantown; Charisa Norman, 25, of North Philadelphia; Clarence Norris, 39, of West Philadelphia; Sherri Perkins, 23, of Drexel Hill; Christopher Powell, 28, of Drexel Hill; and Joseph Stalfire, 67, of Plymouth Meeting.

Again the leo are going after easy targets! WTF? Go after any abusive pimps and drug dealers; there is where the real crime is occurring.

Where would you feel safer visiting...a drug set or at a hotel? Trying to tie one incident to all hotel activity is laughable and a very weak argument. Unfortunately Joe & Jane citizen who doesn't think on their own will go along and encourage this mentality.

They somehow forgot to mention the multiple robberies and murders taking place in other ventures though-out the city, that have nothing to do with prostitution. What about the 93 year old lady that was beaten and robbed for $6 bucks – they should be setting up a sting for those two real creeps.

From Philadelphia Weekly (http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/arts-and-culture/arts-lush-life/Rub-N-Tug-Mysteries-Revealed.html):

Rub 'N' Tug Mysteries Revealed

“If prostitution is the oldest profession, we were looking at its oldest boss.”
By Nile Parish

Posted Aug. 17, 2010

Chinatown looks different on a Monday night. The lack of food smells, crowds and assorted Asian chatter leaves the desolate blocks open for mischief. The trouble we sought was behind unmarked doors.

I won’t say it was all Victor’s idea, but without him I can’t imagine my search for a “massage” would’ve gone much beyond curiosity. Piqued by rumors of clandestine lairs concealed all over Philadelphia’s tiny Chinatown, we ventured to put the mystery of the late-night rub ’n’ tug to rest. Our first lead was an address on Cherry Street: White door, single white doorbell. We gave it a buzz.

If prostitution is the oldest profession, we were looking at its oldest boss. The overweight madam who greeted us stood in a lounge lined with couches—neat, nondescript and unmistakably Chinatown. There are a couple Asian women on laptops sitting near her. Our questions are to the point, as are her answers: 150 bucks gets you whatever happens in that room, whether it’s a massage, a wild orgy or discussing yard work—madam doesn’t want to know.

“How about if there’s no sex?” Victor bargains.

“Just a massage and a happy ending?” I chime in, making an unnecessary gesture.

She tells us massages cost 60 bucks, but insists on the upsell—$150 and whatever you want.

We bounce.

Convinced there are more of these spots all around, we press on. Research reveals another place just down the street. Again, plain white door, white doorbell. Buzz. We enter to a madam rushing us through a pink-lit lounge and into rooms. The lack of romance rubs us both the wrong way. Our discussion with her goes about the same as the madam before, but this one is much more pushy. We again try to bargain the “no sex” route, which gets us plum thrown out of the place.

Back on the street, we walk to the corner to take stock. We need information. Victor takes some initiative and starts a conversation in his native tongue with a couple guys walking past. I nod and smile as our map of possibilities suddenly opens up.

There are loads of these joints in Chinatown—many of them unmarked. White door, red door, green door, white doorbell, buzz. Pink walls, soft light, madam, girls, the deal’s always the same. Whatever you want, $150. By the time we tick off every place on our list of about seven, we thoroughly know the drill. Feeling like pros, we walk back to spot No. 1.

We’d told them we were running to an ATM an hour before, and our return prompts no conversation, just tea in a foam cup. We sit down on a couch and light cigarettes. It’s obviously a slow night. Madam blankly stares at the TV cycling an endless stream of commercials for Chinese restaurants in Vegas. The girls click away on laptops. Halfway through our smokes, madam is palpably impatient.

From across the room we each pick a girl, prompting them to look up from their screens and rise, awaiting us at the steps. They lead us upstairs into adjacent shower stalls, strip us down, and begin bathing us. My girl seems to be on a mission to finish this last little bit of work for the night.

Finally, Victor and I are led into separate rooms. Mine is the size of a walk-in closet and contains something between a massage table and a bed, a nightstand stacked with oils, and strategically placed mirrors on the walls. She directs me to lay back and begins the massage, a pretty standard one, albeit sans even a stitch of clothing. It isn’t long before I have to explain that I’m not willing to receive more than a tug from this fine lady. There’s surprise on her face, but she doesn’t seem disappointed. She got to work and pulled off the finale with 10 minutes to spare on the clock. The experience redefined the handjob for me. This was the work of a professional.

Shortly after, I find myself back in the lounge smoking—TV still blaring, madam snacking. One of her employees has to intercom Victor’s room before he comes strolling down the stairs with a look of bliss on his face. “Sorry man. Got carried away.”

Can’t knock a happy ending. ■

I may be stating the obvious, but prositution is only a small factor in the illegal drug market. I could'nt state statistics without research but I'm willing to bet that the relation of prostitution to crime and drugs is relatively low compared to the big picture. Police think they are cleaning up the drug scene by targeting johns and girls, but how many working girls are there vs. the population in the city on some kind of illegal drugs. Not to mention the white collar and suburban population that come to the city for their supplies. These problems could be dealt with in the same manner as prostitution stings. Crime is everywhere and prostitution is only a small amount. Prostitution is such an obvious thing to witness on the street that LEO use this to their advantage.

I've recently relocated to another city in the US though I have been keeping abreast of news on the K as a result of the excellent reporting of StreetSteve, Hunter, Cooky, SuperE and others. What the hell is going on there? Another serial rapist and murderer? We all know these girls have taken on a risky career / lifestyle but they, most assuredly, don't deserve this type of treatment. Most of them (in my experience) are sweet and kind, and great human beings aside of their medication habits. I am appalled and sincerely hope they catch this MF soon.

And, I feel you. But, we true mongers have to be responsible.

I usually back off the "K," a little this time of year anyway. I normally do this for many reasons. Around the holidays there is always more LE presence. During the holidays they double the patrols to protect against the shoplifter and pickpockets who increase their activities this time of year. And, now they have another reason to prowl the Kensington neighborhoods.

We each must decide to do our thing, our way. I have decided to stay away from the avenue for awhile. The way I am figuring it, by my staying away, LE will have one less car and one less guy to watch.

It's no real sweat off my nose; I have my phone contacts and favorites to keep me warm. If staying away a week or two, or for a month helps LE catch this son-of-a- female dog; it would be worth it.

Food for Thought: This guy was likely a regular monger at one time. He is using monger techniques. He is picking up girls and taking them to monger spots. LE must think he is a monger that's why they have setup the decoys. The only way to lure these girls away to as dark secluded area is with the promise of money or drugs. (The fact that he was seen walking means nothing. Lots of mongers park and hunt on foot. I am betting that this is a guy from outside the neighborhood who recently lost his job and cannot afford to pay anymore. I am betting he started out as a regular pay for play monger and for some reason decided to stop paying.

Just my two cents. :)

I would agree that this guy had monger experience and that he may also drive. If he is in fact the person they have pictured, I think he's too young to both live outside the neiborhood and know it as well as he seems to. I really question if they have the correct guy pictured. Then again there is probably a little more evidence than we know about. It also seems like we all forgot about the guy who was brutally beating women last year. There are a lot of questions hanging out there this might be a good place to discuss them.

TM,

I think he's only showing some compassion for the woman, not taking a shot at you
I appreciate your point of view. And maybe there are different ways to see this. BUT. His leadoff words "that's kinda messed up dude" directs the comment and situation right straight at me. It also doesn't sound very "compassionate" to either me or the SW unless they changed the definition of "messed up" when I wasn't looking. Let's even give him the benefit of the doubt that he really meant just to have some compassion for her age and still be hoing on Kensington and really meant to say that the "situation" was messed up. My point still stands. So what? Is there a mandatory retirement age for SWs he would like to enforce? I think it should be like other service job. You work as long as you want to and your services are demanded. That was my point. Why feel sorry for her and not all the other girls sucking dick on the stroll? Nobody was breaking her arm to be there or mine to pick her up. That's what this Forum is all about. She did a great job at a reasonable price. She made some money she was more than happy to earn and I was satisfied. I fail to see the tragedy or the big deal. While we're on the subject of compassion (in the Streetwalker Reports thread), I just came across this article from Philadelphia Weekly, published a year ago, which begins:

"A New Dawn: Philly Court Uses Compassion to Fight Prostitution

"Today is not the first time Kristen Simmons (not her real name) stands before a judge in Philadelphia's criminal court. In the 26 years she's been working on and off as a prostitute, she has been arrested 16 times and has served four stints in jail...."

It was accompanied by the attached photo (obviously a newspaper model posing on the K) but is an interesting read on an alternative approach to jailing prostitutes. I had read the article you linked last year when it first came out. I found it to ring very true regarding the girls on Kensington Avenue. I don't know if the program they are talking about is the right one or if it even works but apparently it does for some. The drugs / prostitution cycle is a very hard one to break. Yet we know that it happens because there is a great turnover of the girls on Kensington. All you have to do is look at reports of years past. Most of those girls aren't around anymore. Some probably move and some have sad endings but many eventually get cleaned up and move on. But there always seem to be new faces to replace them. The part of the article I found to be counter to my thinking was the claim that most girls first get into prostitution and then into drugs and not the other way around. Maybe that's because most of the girls I know on Kensington are already druggies and I never met them before they got that way. It sounds logical that it would happen that way and the court system ought to know what is going on in the lives of these girls as a whole better than we do with our brief encounters with them. I have to stop short of thinking I might understand more than I actually do based on a series of 15 minute BJs in my car.

Working on K is a sign of serious addiction, a place where girls can trick and then buy drugs minutes later. They'd work at a strip club or for an escort agency if they didn't have such an addiction.

She was identified this morning as Jocelyn Deaver. 21, of Aston, Delaware County.

Her body was found shortly after 4 a. M. Tuesday on the 3200 block of H Street, which angles into nearby Allegheny Avenue.

Investigators have not yet disclosed yet if they have established a motive in the killing or identified any possible suspects.

The articles that you linked to have no mention of race,The papers I liked to are members of the MSM, and they never do. Truth is not politically correct, and therefore the totalitarian progressives tell lies. When they tell anything at all, of course, which is rarely.

However, I believe these are black flash mobs that attack whites in racially motivated violence. You're absolutely correct. I didn't mention this specifically because I didn't think of it: I guess I assumed that everyone knows anyway. First, it's not a new phenomenon on Philly (nor elsewhere) , and second we know that if race isn't mentioned, then it's blacks. Let's not press this issue too much on this forum because this forum is not about race relations and this potentially contentious topic has a possibility to wreak havoc in this otherwise very peaceful and informative place. I hate to self-censor, but there are plenty of forums on the net where this can be discussed w / o mincing words. But again, you're absolutely right, it's blacks. It's always blacks. Nutter's making threatening noises in the umpteenth time, but he does so every year w / o much result it seems (search the net on "Youth mob in Philadelphia" and you'll find multiple reports going back years where every time the city administration proclaims that the mayhem will not be tolerated. Till it happens again a few weeks later). The long and the short of it is, be careful when walking around this rapidly Detroilet'izing city, and do not limit your info sources to this one forum. Forewarned is forearmed, and it's your responsibility to be informed. BTW, I understand that since recently Philly has a fairly permissive concealed-carry policy. Maybe? Something to think about.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS). On the same weekend that two men were beaten by violent mobs of teenagers in Center City spurring a police crackdown, another man now says he was randomly attacked on Kelly Drive.

Christopher Dean says he was biking along the drive around 6 pm on Sunday evening, July 31. It was a sunny day and plenty of people were out. He was between Boathouse Row and the Girard Avenue bridge heading west, he says, when he saw a group of four or five teenage boys standing by the side of the path. Suddenly, one of them stepped out toward his bicycle and punched him in the face.

Dean was hit so hard, he says he blacked out. Dean says the teens appeared to be between 15 and 18.

"It felt literally like a blunt force nose of an airplane smacking into me full force. I think it was as hard as he could possibly hit somebody," Dean said."You don't know what's hit you when something like that happens. It takes me three or four seconds probably to realize I've just been punched."

Dean says he managed to pedal another hundred yards before he was helped by two people having a picnic. Pictures show his face bleeding profusely. He needed stitches and his skull was fractured in three places, he says.

"The doctors said that's brass knuckles, the only way your skin can be opened up that way, that's brass knuckles,"he said.

Police confirmed Dean's story and said there have been no arrests.

Dean's incident happened just two days after two other violent attacks by teenagers in Center City. On Friday night, July 29, one man was beaten at Walnut and Juniper, and another man was attacked at 15th and Sansom.

Dean says he is speaking out now because he doesn't believe the city is doing enough to combat the random violence.

On Monday, Mayor Nutter laid out a plan to prevent the so-called flash mobs, mostly by imposing a tougher curfew in Center City and University City on Friday and Saturday nights. The city is also keeping 20 recreation centers open later on those evenings to give kids something to do.

But none of that would have prevented Dean's incident, which occurred early in the evening and outside the new curfew zone.

Dean says he believes the city needs to install more cameras, especially along Kelly Drive. Unless the violence is put in check, Dean says the biggest victim might be the city's reputation.

"If they [tourists and visitors] get wind that this is a dangerous place, this city. Generations of work to make this city what it is. And it is a gem of a city, is ruined," he said.

I was friendly with Jocelyn. She was a wonderful warm hearted and intelligent person as some of the news reports say. She was definitely not 'of the ghetto' though she looked it. The drugs really pockmarked her face terribly and when I heard that a Jocelyn was killed and asked how old she was, another girl suggested she must be 30. Through the scars I could see she was once beautiful.

There were 17 or 18 girls at the party some of which were very pretty and remember those mugshots were taken at 2am. I wonder how any of you guys would look after the BS those women went thru. I totally agree. The girls would probably look better under better circumstances. They are alright for a bunch of old guys out for a night of drinking and fun. They don’t look like pros from the drug set (Non druggie pros are pretty hard to find). The Downtowners are taking a lot of heat for doing something that goes on everywhere, by a lots of men groups. The religious right won’t let us have any fun. Someday an anthropologist will find a lost reference to legal biblical prostitution and then the world will be a better place. After-all Jesus chased the money lenders out. And! He said: “Thy shall not steal.” We should honor our mom and pop. Don’t begrudge your neighbor a fine old lady, or envy him an extra goat or two. But! Jesus aka God, never said anything about buying pussy. He did say,” Love thy neighbor.” I think we all should go down to City Hall, join the protesters with our own signs like, “Free the Downtowner 13,” and “Legalize Prostitution.” Whose with me?

I wonder what will ruin her life more, drugs (that she CAN quit) , or story with a photo for the whole world to see! Unbelievable they would do this to an 18 year old girl! The authorities probably figure that they care more about this girl than the pimp and low life (johns) that were taking advantage of her 18 year old body. Everyone automatically gives themselves the upper hand when it comes to righteousness. In reality exploitation is the name of the game. The cops who made the bust needed to show that they are doing their job. The reporter would not have been there if there hadn't been a good story for him to write. The picture is just another form of exploitation – to pump the story up so they could sell more papers.

If this had been an ugly 48 year old pimped out prostitute arrest; it would never have made the paper. The fact that she was young and pretty is what made the story interesting. The only way to show that she was pretty is to print her picture. And, with a pretty picture you need a thoughtful caption.

If you think hard enough about it, everybody got a piece of this 18 y/o ass. The lawyer, the judge, social workers and everyone whose job depends on someone getting arrested in order for them to get a paycheck; got some of this ass. The staff of the newspaper depends on events happening to people. Tomorrow there will be another story, other photos and this sweet little 18 y/o's ass will have been forgotten. Así va la vida.

I agree.

Now, consider this: There's a thread here devoted to pictures of girls, some of whom come from respectable families, who have fallen victim to drugs and prostitution. It's a shame, nice girls getting involved in something like this. And so here there's this guy who writes a story with photos of the girl from every angle. I wonder what will ruin her life more, drugs (that she CAN quit) or a story with multiple photos for the whole world to see! Unbelievable he would do this to girls as young as 18!

Do you agree? The differences are quite obvious:

1. There is 'no personally identifying info' for the general public to Google (look on every page in red ink). On the other hand, please Google this girl's name and see what comes up. I did. She is scarred for life, courtesy of the system pretending to care, which CookyJar described quite elaborately. Now try to do the same with any girl posted on this site. Let us know what information comes up.

2. The pictures of girls on this thread were posed for and are published WITH their consent. There are many SWs who simply refuse to take photos.

To brand someone this young is, to me, disguisting and a real tragedy. In the 'land-of-the-free' to boot! It's like a bad joke. The rest of the world is laughing at us!

I'm sorry. The post quoted above makes no sense to me. Doesn't the author post many many pictures of "little girls"? On the internet? Without clothes? Where the residents in the "little girls'" home township can see them?

Logically then shouldn't the photographer's photo also be shown? The photographer is part of the story. If I lived in the township of some of these "little girls" I'd want to know who's going around taking nude pictures of them for money. Especially if I had young kids.Logically:

1. The photographer does not benefit from the girl's earnings.

2. (As I mentioned before) the photos were taken and posted WITH the girl's consent.

3. Without personal info (name, etc.) , what are the chances for her neighbors to find her here?

Sorry, but I agree with the previous posts. It seems your logic is a bit off, my friend.

This so-called "CookyJar" is fairly well known in the illegal drug community. He has a criminal background in the Germantown section of the city. He was accused of sexual misconduct while serving in the far east for the USA Marines and has continued his activities since being discharged. The partial reason he isn't being shown all over the internet and newspapers is because he's a hulking black male from the heart of the city, not a pretty white female from the suburbs. Perverts such as this who lure little girls are as threatening to our community as the greedy violent pimp now in county custody. Both drive the girls deeper into illicit activity which becomes increasingly harder to escape.Slander!

During that time a number of other mongers have stated that they picked-up girls that I have photographed / posted picture of, who verified that I had their permission. A couple of the girls themselves have visited this site and confirmed what I am saying. I have posted a number of girls holding signs referring to this site. Quite a few girls have allowed me to post their pictures on more than one occasion over the years. If I were lying to them would they continue to let me take their pictures? Would they recommend me to their girlfriends?Ah, er, um. This got me thinking. And perhaps I might offer an idea that could be a good practice for ALL mongers who partake in photos of the ladies? As a standard practice, would it make sense to take one face / torso picture of the the lady while she is holding a sign with this web address on it? Perhaps you have seen the Baldy Cruiser photogs with his signature wife-beater shirt or signage? Seems like one with a web address on it could provide proof of intent? Then again, if the lady is illiterate.

Seems like such a photo [girl, identifying feature, web address] would be good insurance if in the future she decides to claim she "didn't know" you intended to post the pics on the web. With the pic you have some "proof" of your conversation and intent. Short of getting the ladies to sign a standard model release form and providing a photo I'd which one scans / xeroxes, seem like this could be a bit of insurance?

No need to post the "sign photo" unless one wants to, but having it could be a bit of defense against scurrilous charges. Oh sure, one could claim that the picture was photo-shopped to add the website name, as it formerly said something else. But me thinks each round of photo-shopping leaves a digital trail on the photo and an unaltered picture would be readily apparent.

Every girl I have posted pics of has thanked me the next time they saw me. They actually find it flattering to have a monger track them down over all the other girls on the ave because of their photos and reviews.

Every girl I have met after seeing their pics posted by someone else has told me that they did give permission to post them.

If one girl is formerly unknown to LE, it is only because she is new to the ave. A female vice officer recently told me, She knows all the girls out there. Since she works there every day, I tend to believe her.

Cookie Jar! I can't believe you know about him too. He is the world's biggest scumbag and should be behind bars. I actually met him once. He doesn't work the burbs as much as the city. He IS huge and just as bad as this guy Troyo. He takes porno photos of young female addicts and puts them online without permission. Then he pimps the girls at a sex site. Of course he pays them with drug money like Troyo. Yech! Good advice about the license number. I've heard the cops are on his case now. Yay!

There's another prowler on that avenue that approaches young girls to take nude photos of them in exchange for money. He's a big big man and goes by the name of Cookie Jar. The only way we can stop perverts like this is to get their license number. Please, if he approaches you be careful. And get his license number. The above quotes / comments were taken from the PhillyBurbs. Since I only work in Philadelphia three days per week, and have for the last thirty-plus years, and was told in this very sub-forum that (paraphrase) "I did not belong here because I don't live here", a statement reinforced by the fact that I had supported a poster who was then going through what could very well have been considered his own version of hell, I'll make this short and sweet:

It's about civility, period. That should be the number one rule within this, or any forum. Moderators have been put into place for purposes of upholding policy, and while it's up to us to police ourselves to a high degree, vindictive statements have cost this once-thriving community greatly.

I can't put up my email or facebook address. That's an invitation to spam or worse. And if you and I agree to meet and talk, guess who would show up. Did I mention this Cookie Jar is a registered gun owner?

About the cops. They will not act unless you have credible information that YOU have been harassed. You'll have to give up your name, though it would be confidential until trial. I can't give out whom I have spoken with. I was able to get two of the girls I work with to sign a complaint, which is not part of the public record yet. It's really up to the District Attorney's office to determine if the complaints should move forward. You can help.

Here's my advice. If you or someone you know has had any interaction with Cookie Jar, go to the nearest police station and tell the story. Same if you get his car license, make, or model. He's a known person of interest in the drug areas of Philadelphia. I'm not sure about the 'burbs. The city police office closest to where my girls have seen him is at Girard & Montgomery (26th District. 615 E. Girard Ave. 215-686-3260).After reading the comments made in this PhillyBurbs. http://articles.philly.com/2012-08-14/news/33201682_1_drug-dealers-open-air-drug-west-kensingtonThe bottom line is-if LEO is successful in curtailing the drug trade, then there won't be a lot of girls around.

As much as it would hamper the whole monger thing, I think it would be great if somehow the Police were actually going to make this happen on a wide scale.

The cynic in me says that this has been tried before and it is basically a "Whack-A-Mole" approach.

The City is just too big to be able to stop the drug trade-they clean up one block and it moves somewhere else.

I sincerely hope they are able to succeed in some way-because it would save a lot of lives from being wasted.

SuperEloquent did not deserve what he got. (He was an asshole but aren't we all in one way or another?)

Among other things, Dark Phoenix suggested that SuperEloquent may have been the Kensington Strangler. Had SuperEloquent been the strangler that would have justified what Dark Phoenix did. The real Kensington Strangler has been captured and convicted. We now know that SuperEloquent was innocent of at least one (and probably others) of Dark Phoenix's accusations.

IMHO, SuperEloquent is owed an apology. (I am entitled to my opinion.)

An honorable ex-Marine would tell ALL women whose photos he has taken that he intends to post their pictures online.I am confident the person referred to always tells his subjects the photos will be posted on line. I know many of the women and they all tell me they knew the photos would be posted. Now just so it is in the open, I gave a disk with photos on it to the person in question. They had a meeting and the woman decided against having the photos posted. So bottom line is we are the only two that will ever see them unless of course the subject changes her mind in the future. So lets just try to avoid speculation. That way we can focus on talking about the things we truly know about. Hope this offends no one. http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/national_world&id=8844802I don't see how it is an issue, being video taped having sex in an AMP or other place, other than the public embarrassment value. I think there are personal privacy issues at stake.

Now if the guys are on video offering to pay money for sex acts then clearly they have broken the law.

That I believe is the reason that one should be careful in these places. If memory serves standard practice in AMPs is to leave the house fee and a tip on the table in the massage room after the lady leaves to give you privacy to get undressed. Seems as though no one hands a lady any money directly, unless it is the house fee. Then no one EVER asks for sexual activities, nor ever mentions acts and certainly NO ONE EVERY asks for sexual activities in exchange for money!

But alas, I am sure there are a few skeptics in the crowd saying,"Hey Cephlapod Love, you telling me there are no "extras" at Philly AMPs?" Goodness, I think from evidence here, there is a good case to be made for some girls taking their own initiative and getting frisky. But alas, anything that happens between a massage patron and the girl isn't contracted for, paid for nor agreed to. Er, at least unless one opens their mouth and says something illegal like,"Hey, baby, how much for a blow job?" I can't see how there can be anything wrong with consenting adults letting their hormones wander into the birds and bees. Things happen. We are a weak species.

So I don't know what the tapes in Maine show. Maybe some idiots in hard bargain negotiations committing crimes? But hey, if one pays for a legitimate service, and never specifically requests illegal activities, I don't know how a prosecutor is going to turn that into a crime. Nothing illegal about getting a body rub from an unlicensed girl is there?

Even if there is no solicitation in the video, the madam will be apt to give her clients up to make a plea deal. So—I don't want my name in some sex worker's little black book. I don't even want my phone number in an SG's cell phone.

So—I don't want my name in some sex worker's little black book. I don't even want my phone number in an SG's cell phone.Huh? I have never walked into an AMP and given my real name. Never called a SWs, escort*** or AMPs from a phone registered in my name, the same number one calls the wife, siblings, friends and co-workers? Last time I registered at a notel, I didn't write down "Cephlapod Love" as my sign in name. Didn't write down the name on my birth certificate either. Last I checked, places like Hotel le Carlyle don't check IDs, nor verify sign in names. I have never had to show ID at an AMP in order to get a massage..... So...... Isn't this on par with having a burn-monger phone for the hobby or using GV as another layer?

I guess if one doesn't use those methods one might as well pay at the AMP with a credit card? I'm just sayin'

*** Yeah, some high end escorts screen you and ask for real name, work place, etc. But you should always inquire as to how they handle that information and their "data retention policy." If one doesn't like the implied risk....I guess one always has the right not to take it!

And this is not the only thing where it insists it knows better than you what you're trying to say. As to the identification of some sort, you may be asked for it regardless of your age. I had been a couple of times, and even though it'd be very flattering to assume that was because I looked youthful, I'm past the age when I could do that reasonably. Eh, I'd rank that up there with "public embarrassment!" If you are single it is one level of embarrassment having LE and prosecutors looking at yer pasty azz on tape [hey maybe some young ADA is into that kinda thing? ], but if you have a SO, then it rises to another level of "embarrassment". One that might get you a court date & custody payments. Or your car scratched to heck!

A passerby in Harrowgate made a gruesome discovery early Monday night, police said: the body of a partially clothed woman dead in a debris-strewn vacant lot. The woman, who police said was lying on her back and completely naked except for a shirt pulled up over her shoulders and face, was pronounced dead in the lot. She remained unidentified.

Investigators from the Medical Examiner's Office found signs of trauma to the woman's face. The death is being investigated as suspicious until the Medical Examiner's Office performs an autopsy and determines an official cause of death.

Police said the area, which is not far off of Kensington Avenue, is a known location for drug use and prostitution. .Http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/dncrime/Passerby-finds-dead-partially-clothed-woman-in-vacant-lot-in-Harrowgate.html

Http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/dncrime/Passerby-finds-dead-partially-clothed-woman-in-vacant-lot-in-Harrowgate.htmlIt should be obvious, to everyone by now, that I am not too smart. Unlike my good friend, SuperEloquent, I did not attend an Ivy League school. When I started school there was no such thing as Affirmative Action. Jim Crow and separate but equal were not quite over and still ruled. I did manage a few protests and did a little marching before barely managing to get in a small traditionally Black school. Between the war, protesting, marching and school, I learned a little.

I am an idiot. I know that. I also know that there are members out there who are a lot smarter than I am. Knowing that, I would like to explore a topic that came to me as I was relaxing in the Jacuzzi. I would like to explore a supposition among the more knowledgeable members. Anyone with just a little commonsense may join in.

Let's beginning with the assumption that PW, PhillyNews or any of the News Organizations now being bombarded with requests to expose, 'CookyJar, ' decided to do an exposé on CookyJar and USASexGuide.

In order for a hypothesis to be correctly considered a few presuppositions most be made. Let us pre-suppose that:

1. A PW or Philly Weekly reporter has come to Kensington Avenue and done some intensive interviewing.

2. CookyJar has not granted the new media an interview, however he may or may not have been detained and released by Law Enforcement and is now being advised by his personal attorneys. (There may or may not be some talk about a law suit and his 6th amendment rights to face his accusers.)

3. In the original News report, the internet website, "USASexGuide," was included and sited as the location of CookyJar's notorious antics.
a. Other local news papers may or may not have picked up the story.

With these assumptions made, what are the possible / likely outcomes? Consider the variables, what are the likely outcomes?

Participates wanting to join in this debate may extent the suppositions as needed to make their argument.

CookyJarI don't ply the hobby in your area but I always keep an eye out for your pics in the photo section. Sometimes I think Jackson should give you your own thread! The commenter obviously has issues with a lot more than just you posting pics. Hopefully this will blow over with little impact to you or the hobby in your area. Stay Safe!

WOW! That didn't take long. Check out the link provided by Ggarth. Read the short article. Stroll down and read the comments.

It should be obvious, to everyone by now, that I am not too smart.

CookyJarSounds like this one guy has a real hard on for you. If you did or didn't say anything to ANYBODY (excepting your legal counsel) , they would have nothing aganist you. Assuming your not guilty (of that one crime) of course. They may try "getting" you on something else. I would imagine that it would blow over, assuming that you did not incriminate your self (by talking) in anyway. I would recommend that you lay low.

How would they prove that you took pictures of girls without there permission? Most of the girls look happy to have their picture taken. Its not like they didn't know that it was happening.

Could it be one disgruntled lady whom contacted the press?

Bobb Sledd has brought up a good point.

…The commenter obviously has issues with a lot more than just you posting pics. Hopefully this will blow over with little impact to you …The commenter has charge or alleged that; CookyJar exhibits photos without permission, is guilty of hundreds of counts of soliciting for prostitution, solicits teenagers for sex, carries a gun, deals in drugs and with drug dealers, besmirched the reputation of the Marine Corps, forced girls to undress and takes their pictures, battered girls, is a homosexual, drug money launderer and a lewd individual.

These are not statements in hyperbole or opinion; they are statements intended to defame and encourage a publication to expose and obtain a legal action. Are these statements true? Can they be proven in a court of law? Are they first amendment protected?

It is likely safe to assume that many of the aliases used in the comments, even many of the ones labeled anonymous, can be connected to a single IP address. If this is the case, the question is, is there slander? Can the slanderer claim first amendment protection?

Wiser minds, what do you think?

CJ, in my considerate opinion, you're paying too much attention to hese posts. What do you want to do with them? Anyone can post anything online. And does. Why are you obssessing over it? You've created a recognizable persona on this site and it was only to be expected that some nutcase fastened onto it. You don't know who he is; you can't go after him (wouldn't be worthwhile even if it were possible) ; so why the endless discussion? Let them post what they want, who cares. The amount of crap on the net is staggering, you can't pay attention to it.

It has been going on for some time-last Spring, it was in the Doylestown Patch. It seems to pop up just about on every Philly website whenever there is a reference to prostitution or to Kensington.

My feeling is that there are not tons of people who actually read these comments and go running to the authorities as a result. Practically every article on every website has all sorts of asinine comments.

Go to today's Philly. Com article about the murdered Doctor and the pillhead exterminator from Bucks County who killed her. You will find all sorts of insane comments-including morons spewing hate about Obama and gun control.

In fact, just about every article on Yahoo is followed by 100's of comments-usually by those who hate Obama or who have some axe to grind in public and can hide behind anonymity. A lot of these Internet comments are downright ignorant and racist.

My feeling is that the person or persons who are posting all over the Web about Cooky Jar are most likely followers of Supereloquent who still hate on Cooky and somehow blame him for their boy being "outed". Did we all notice that one of the posters was named "Light Phoenix"--it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that someone who posts on this Board is responsible for most of this nonsense on other sites.

Also, there are a number of regular posters on this board who have been slandering CJ for years and who otherwise contribute nothing of value to the Forum. You can go back to 2006 and there have been a ton of people that were hating on Cooky Jar even back then--many were questioning the authenticity of his "finds" even before he got his own thread.

It is most unfortunate that this nonsense keeps happening-and even worse that people are posting the link to Cooky Jar's thread on other websites.

But-I have news for you-Jackson has this site set up in such a way that googling just about anything will lead you to it. I have asked him about this and his response is that he wants to drive traffic to the site and is not concerned if anything is found out about individuals as a result. He suggests that people be careful what they post.

Go ahead-Google "Supereloquent" on the Internet, and you will find just about all of his threads as well as pictures. I'm 100% sure you will even still be able to find his real name out there for the whole world to see.

It is also true that if you Google "Cooky Jar Philadelphia", it will lead to this site and all of its threads.

So-the point is-this info has been out there for years and if the authorities wanted to do something at any given time, they probably would have by now. Eventually, everyone who has something of value to offer will stop posting, and all we will get is people like the Waldos of the world who offer little but sarcasm and nonsense comments.

I can personally attest as can many other members to the fact that Cooky has NEVER mislead any of these girls about the fact that their pictures would be posted-a number of these girls (whom I have met at one time or another) have confirmed this FACT to me and to others. So the clowns who keep posting elsewhere claiming to be victims are obvious frauds.

If you children want to keep playing games, then people including myself and other legitimate posters will never bother to offer valuable and real information and the site will no longer be a place that points out the way for others to avoid trouble and bad dates, etc.

Thanks Tonsil Hockey. But that won't be necessary, thanks anyway. I've an attorney on retainer and he has given me the names of two other lawyers who practice in related areas.

Besides, if it does ever come to a criminal investigation, the ACLU might be interested. Since the commenter isn't an actual source for the News columnist, he isn't protected by the 1st Amendment. Since the commenter has openly defamed CookyJar, should the person known as CookyJar be forced out into the open as a result of commenter's actions there is a 6th Amendment argument to be made. Of cause a Judge would have to agree to have the newspaper determine if any of the comments, made under different aliases, were made by the same person, using the same computer IP address. Once outed, under our Constitution, even CookyJar has a right to face his accuser (s). If that person or persons was attempting to denigrate a private citizen there is always the possibility of a law suit. The commenter, not the newspaper or law enforcement, may have to prove some of his allegations.

That $30 per picture ($300 for thirty pictures) alleged to be paid by CookyJar will probably go towards his legal fees.

Thanks Tonsil Hockey for bringing it up.

Personally, I don't give a crap about any of it, including the original Cookiejar and his idiotic thread with photos of scarily fugly females he appearently collects for god only knows what reason. But the thread is clearly marked as "owned" by CJ and god bless, I don't have to read it, and it costs me nothing to avoid it. Can we avoid the overflow of CJ garbage into other threads? Just to placate the guy I said that any number of idiots posting anti-CJ comments on sites that allow posting comments is OF NO IMPORTANTCE WHATSOEVER (and this is true) , but my main stress is, can we either avoid or at least localize this cretinous discussion somehow?

Currently, it's pretty hard to find without prior knowledge of some kind about it. Very few people currently have a reason to google the user name, CookyJar or SuperElequent, or look for a web site named USASexGuide.

I stumbled across this site by accident – I couldn't have found it if I had been looking for it.

Once an article is written, everyone one who reads it will be free to follow their curiosity. Once an article is written, anyone who read it will be free to google the names mentioned in the article. Once an article is written, it won't bother me much, it won't bother Jackson, in fact it won't bother any of us hiding behind our anonymous user names. Stay safe amigo. No! Please! I appreciate your opinion. And! I totally agree with what you've said.

If LE wants me there is little I can do. When it comes to charges however, there is very little they can do. Unless they trump-up a charge. What have I done? Even if I'm found with a girl; it's only solicitation. I don't pay for sex. I don't carry a gun. I've never threatened, like alone hit a girl. I am not a pimp. I don't cuss. I pay my taxes. I treat all women with respect. I get at least eight hours of sleep each night. I'm your average guy and I like to take pictures.

What are they going to do to me? Tell my mommy and daddy, send me back to Vietnam or maybe banish me to bed without supper.

If the commenters get their way, USASexGuide. Com will get some much needed publicity, I will be pissed-off and every girl who has a picture posted on USASexGuide. Com, by me or anyone else, will have her identity made available to the general public.

Sure, I could change venues, move to another country or simply stop posting and I would if I thought it would make the slightest difference. Unfortunately, what's been done is done and cannot be undone.

See the name CookyJar in the top left portion of his latest post? Place your computer's curser on his name and click the left side of your computer mouse. Yes, I don't understand! I've been following this thread for a month and I hope someone can clarify a few questions. CJ does wonderful camera work. But I'm wondering.

1) After several folks suggested CJ pay less attention to troll posts (and he agreed?) why is the whole issue being brought up again. Did I miss a new development?

2) Why isn't this topic being played out at the Daily News website where it originated?

3) How can anyone come on here and say he doesn't pay for sex? If payment is only for photos taken, then aren't stories about threesomes in bed and great BBBJs simply lies to us fellow mongers? It seems such a disservice to newbies here to imply that you can solicit a girl on Kensington Avenue and get sex for free.

4) How can "only solicitation" not be considered serious. Go back and read Zaphod II's post about his arrest. New members here need to realize the risk involved in picking up street providers.

5) How can anyone imply to readers here that posting photos in the past doesn't make a girl's identity available to the general public? Doing a search on "Melissa Kensington" now is no different than doing it after the forthcoming (dreaded) expose.

6) Do any of us really believe the front page of the Inquirer will soon be plastered with lame quotations from addicts who posed for porn?I'm no law major and I have no idea if the reviews here could be incriminating or not. I know lots of blokes here make shit up and write fantasies and such. I know lots here will read former reviews and then write similar reviews on the same provider to build their post count so they can fit in. I know some people just write blatantly fake stories and relish in it. For these and many other reasons, it's probably why we aren't all sitting in jail. With that said, I agree, if LEO wants you, if for nothing else to humiliate you, than they shall find a way.

I suspect, however, the nature of CJ's interest out there has nothing to do with LEO, but rather of a civil nature. I. E. One of these, or a few of these girls got their hands in an attorney and are seeking 'damages" for their photos showing up here. I do not believe LEO would have a solid case for prosecution unless several girls were willing to tesify that he did in fact pay for sex. And even if they were, it's still not likely to amount to a felony. Seems like a waste of tax payer resources, but who am I to judge?

I once played a role on a forum and had to make shit up all the time to "fit in' and get the inside scoop with folks posting there. I'm good at that sort of thing. Some people here may be doing just that and believe it or not, it's fully protected under the 2nd amedment.

Yes, I don't understand! I've been following this thread for a month and I hope someone can clarify a few questions. CJ does wonderful camera work. But I'm wondering.

No, and either one is a putz, trying to stir up sh*t with a well-regarded poster or, one needs and education. I'll let each reader draw their own conclusions. But alas, I'll subscribe to the theory that education is the cure to ignorance, so perhaps I can contribute to a reduction of such?

Look, if one looks at the law as a bright line, then they truly are ignorant. {sorry to be so harsh} What the story of life should teach you is that the reason we have so many lawyers running around this country is that the law isn't black & white. Sure there are lines but there are always nuances to those lines, which create grey areas. Also, don't fall into the trap of thinking, well this happened to my buddy this way, so it must be the law. Each situation is different and as such, if one wants to prosecute justice to their advantage they let the experts navigate these grey areas. You think you have a better understanding of the law than a lawyer? ;) Funny, most people take "experiences" to heart and assume that is the law, without fully understanding the nuances.

So, the point is that when one pays for a legitimate legal service and as a consequence, by some stroke of luck, two consenting adults agree to engage in sexual activities, there is no crime. Oh sure, I am certain one could get arrested anyway, but it makes it very difficult for a prosecutor to prove that there was prostitution: ie money exchanged for sexual contact. Look, stop and think about it, those tapes of the Zoomba instructor in MA, nothing illegal there - until she offered XYZ (sexual contact) for ABC (compensation) or until the Gent offered to pay for sexual services. Why do you think that the AMPs NEVER stand there and verbally negotiate with you over "extras?" Bottom line - they are providing a legitimate service- a body rub. So a prosecutor has to decide, if he wants to climb the up hill battle to prove that illegal activity occurred, that the money was for sex.

Now let me tell you, prosecutors are overworked and prefer to plead cases out, rather than fight up hill battles and loose. Sure, if the politics or community opinion are in the prosecutor's favor, or they just have a hard-on for you, then perhaps they proceed with a case against you. But my guess is that most caught in such a situation, just want the whole thing to go away quietly and will agree to a plea on loitering or something else, so they can pay a fine and walk away. But my analysis is probably way too simplistic for anyone reading this with a law degree. Please correct me.

Let me take this to an extreme. What if you met some nice young lady on Match. Com (or at a church function), you meet her for a drink, she tells you a sad story about her shoeless kids or the one that needs an operation, you feel sorry for her and give her some money to help her kids out? Then at the end of the date, you drive her home and at the door the goodnight kiss ignites sparks between the two of you, she pushes you inside, tears off yer clothes and darn near rapes you right there in the entryway. So are you guilty of prostitution? I mean after all you gave her money and there was sex. Or do the "nuances" or particulars of the situation make a difference?

So what if you paid someone to take their picture? How come the girls who are in all of the porno movies - i.e. getting paid to have sex for money..... why aren't they arrested for prostitution? I mean the purpose of the money she gets is explicitly for her to have sex. Is there some other nuance we need to consider here?

So good luck out there - Be safe! Don't do anything illegal!

*"curbstone legal advice" is a joke. What law school did you go to, Curbstone U? It means you got your "law degree" at the curb / on the street and which is likely highly deficient.

No!

CookyJarMaybe you should eat your vegetables too and get the right amount of fiber as well? ;) But no, I get what you are sayin'

C'mon CJ - Now let me say this and I'll hope you take it the right way. Not looking to wet yer shoes, just get in yer face a bit to drive home a point.

My reading between the lines suggests, you got nicked or detained by LE at some point recently and as a result of such, consulted with a qualified attorney. That was a smart move.

But me thinks, in reading your post one detects a bit of "something". Which in fact reminds me of the story Icarus.

Also, I'll share that the times when one tends to find the most trouble are when they THINK they have solved the issues / problems. So don't let your certitude be your downfall, we've already seen one poster on here suffer a fate as a result arrogance and hubris.

I can't answer what some creative prosecutor can dredge up to stop one individual, but thinking one is safe behind the law seems a bit dangerous from this perspective. Look, in DE they used to have those old style drive-in motels that were an open air drug market and wh*rehouse. Girls would sit in lawn chairs outside their rooms an dealers walked up to your car. Numerous arrests of those doing the crimes never stopped the issue, until some creative prosecutor applied some "Health & Hygiene" law to the OWNERS. [the frickin owners who were doing nothing wrong! ]

So if an ADA is coming at you, they are gunna come from some creative angle AND they are gunna come BIG. No silly string of misdemeanors, they'll be hunting felonies.

But alas, all they need to do is make the arrest. Then at that point, this becomes a "story" for the TV and newspapers and internet. I guess if one doesn't mind being identified publicly as a wh*remonger, then one has nothing to worry about. I can suggest however, that even if you manage to win the legal issues, you are going to loose. The prosecutor can see to it that one gets a hefty legal bill; er, unless one is in fact a lawyer or has one available for free?

So my amigo, don't allow one's certitude to lull them into a false sense of security and fly too close to the sun!

But alas, all are free to take their own path in the sojourn of life. Be safe.

6) Do any of us really believe the front page of the Inquirer will soon be plastered with lame quotations from addicts who posed for porn?WOW! I've been away for a few days. While I've was gone, suddenly the joint got jumping.

I cannot make you understand, if you don't want to. Nothing I say to you is going to make a difference.

1. I never agreed to stop posting. Look up sarcasm. It was suggested that I was the one posting in the daily rags and I said, 'Wow! Now that I know it was me doing it, I feel much better. I'll stop and we can all go back to normal. We can keep everything within the confines of the USASexGuide community. Thank you, JGarth. ' So here I am keeping everything within the confines of the USASexGuide community.

2. Why can't it be played out here? Is there some rule against playing it out here that I am not aware of?

3. I don't pay for sex. It locker room bull crap. Men have been doing it for years. Some people will read the stories and take them as gospel. Others won't. You and the newbies are free to believe what you want. That's the nice thing about this country. The truth? Hell if I know what it is.

4. Compared to rape, murder, robbery, stealing, coveting you neighbor's wife, crossing the street in the middle of the block, going swimming right after eating and etc, solicitation is pretty low on the totem pole. I currently have a clean record. Been to court lots of times. Never been charged with a crime. (Knock on wood.) If I've got to take a hit, I hope it for a minor something like solicitation and not any of the bigger ones.

5. Right now this is a relatively unknown site. Few people know about it. The more publicity, the more people who know about USASexGuide, the more exposure, the more. Oh Hell, figure it out for yourself.

6. Nope. But stranger things have happened.

I hope this helps to clear things up for you. I doubt if it will. You don't like me. I don't know why, but nothing I can say is going to change that.

Thanks DirtyDeeds, you have brought up some interesting points.

… I suspect, however, the nature of CJ's interest out there has nothing to do with LEO, but rather of a civil nature. I. There is no law prohibiting the taking of pictures. If you have a camera you can take a picture. It's what you do with that picture. If I had post pictures of fully clothed people on Facebook or some other popular site, no one would be bitching. (I take that back. Some people would ***** Regardless. Facebook does not allow nudity.)

Right to privacy goes right out the window once they willingly posed. If their pictures were taken fully clothed and then somehow their clothing had been magically removed from the pictures without them knowing it and then posted – that would be a problem. But, these girls knew they were naked. If a hidden camera was used and their pictures taken without their knowing it - that would be a problem. If their pictures were used to financially exploit them in some way - that would be a problem. If the pictures were used to slander them – that would be a problem. As it stands, there is no problem and no civil action obtainable. They knew they were being photographed and they knew their photographs would likely be viewed by others.

Before I take a girls picture, we discuss what I intend to do with her pictures. It's a private discussion between adults. To date I have tried to keep every promise made and agreed to during these discussions.

Even if they could get a dozen girls to swear on a mountain of bibles that I paid them for sex, it would still be their word against mine.

I'm no judge either, but I agree – it would be a waste of every ones money and time.

Let me get this straight. A person is posting photos here under an alias that none of his real-life friends, family or associates knows. When he is criticized by someone else here with a similarly anonymous alias he wants to call a lawyer and sue?

I don't understand that at all. Libel is the defamation of a person in writing, where that person is known and therefore can have a reputation to be damaged. Hello? Who here knows who CJ is in real life? Who in the entire world knows who CJ is? What "business" is CJ running here that is defamed or may lose money as a result of some online insults?

Ah, look at those names and ages in that news report. A couple of pairs of people have the same last name, one of the pair significantly older. If this was 'take yer daughter to work day,' then their is a problem. Might have been a third as the under-aged girl was not reported, but as written could have been associated with one of the other women. Sad.

The gist of the case is that the District Attorney has a huge conflict of interests, in that the office is partially funded by forfeitures. Those do not go into the general fund like elsewhere.

Does anyone know of a Philly case where a car was seized without the driver being charged?

Having been an EMT since 1977, and a Paramedic since 1982, this sickens me. First, should someone reading this view a similar circumstance, PLEASE, IF NOTHING ELSE, OPEN THEIR AIRWAY BY HYPEREXTENDING THE JAW, and if possible turn them on their side to help prevent their aspirating vomitus.

The State of New Jersey has recently enacted a law called "The Overdose Prevention Act", which allows for the administration of Narcan (Naloxone) by Police, EMT's, and other "non-healthcare providers". Narcan, Naloxone reverses respiratory depression in cases of (most) opiate and opioid overdose, and is responsible for saving thousands of lives each day. The sooner Narcan is administered in the timeline / progression of the overdose, the better the outcome.

For more info: http://www.nj.gov/health/ems/naloxone_info.shtml.

Please, those who live in Pennsylvania and Delaware, write to your legislators, and ask them to enact similar legislation.

First Aid and CPR should be mandatory curriculum beginning in the 8th Grade. Even viewing an instructional video is better than doing nothing at all!

This hopefully is, or sadly, was someone's daughter or sister.

They had time to record the occurrence, and upload to YouTube, but not enough common sense to dial 911??

Er, we already have a significant part of the population convinced that all males are predators and that we live in an out of control "rape culture." Just what we need is more regulation that institutionalizes that kind of group think, gender bias and discrimination. And that kind of thinking seems to be the driver to the Swedish law:

Sweden's unique strategy treats prostitution as a form of violence against women in which the men who exploit by buying sex are criminalized, the mostly female prostitutes are treated as victims who need help, and the public is educated in order to counteract the historical male bias that has long stultified thinking on prostitution.

Now don't get me wrong. Dudes who rape, beat or abuse should be dealt with. Also think we should get science based treatment systems for addicts in place and get away from this 20% success rate of the 12 Step approach. Yes, those girls are exploited. But all men aren't bad, rapists, exploiters, etc.

But prostitution should be legalized not outlawed. If regulating it doesn't work, as per the examples, then do we say it is bad or perhaps the regulatory system is broken and needs to be fixed? Do we see massive organized crime in the deserts of Nevada. The only jurisdiction in the USA where prostitution is legal? How about Canada. What is the experience there?

So is this more of the same "agenda" to criminalized and marginalize being male, all wrapped in the cloak of fixing social wrongs and past injustices?

Many are very damaged people boarding on suicide. Almost all are mental defects. Me as an individual with a pro for 20 minutes is just a short stop of the pros journey in life. None have shame and / or treat it as a lifestyle. Point is it is not right to be with a pros; but if you look at life in general almost all activities are wrong in general. Just what we need is more regulation that institutionalizes that kind of group think, gender bias and discrimination.

So is this more of the same "agenda" to criminalized and marginalize being male, all wrapped in the cloak of fixing social wrongs and past injustices?WOW!!!

That's a mouth full. Legalization is the way to go. If only more people (especially guys) had the balls to stand-up for legalization. There are probably a lot of us in agreement. The stigmatism is such that few are willing to speak out in public.

When I posted that link, I was not endorsing the Swedish plan, just sharing. I also want to share my experience (far from current to be sure) with legalization. In Europe, being a "legal" prostitute involves registering and having the status show in her / his identity documents. That is no better than having a misdemeanor rap sheet. In European cities, I quickly learned how to find high caliber "illegal" providers, protecting their privacy as they should be able. If anyone knows of a legalization regime where the confidentiality or anonymity of the registrant is meaningfully protected, I would like to know.

The piece of the Swedish plan that puts a stop to the pointless prosecution of providers is a step forward. The question is whether or not as to mongers, it just keeps the status quo, or else can become a "warlock hunt. " 'Just sayin. '.

Just heard about this from a friend.

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/real-time/Naked-woman-found-stabbed-to-death-in-Kensington.html

A naked woman was found stabbed to death and covered in blood on a sidewalk in Kensington overnight.

Around 11:20 pm Saturday night, police responded to a radio call of a "person screaming" to discover the deceased body of a 35-year-old woman laying on the sidewalk.

"She was bloody from head-to-toe and completely naked," Captain Robert Ritchie told reporters at the scene.

Police believe the stabbing took place in an alley near the corner of Jasper and East Cumberland Street, and said the victim was stabbed once in the neck and fled for about a block before collapsing in the street.

The victim, who remains unidentified so police can notify her family, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and police hope footage from surrounding surveillance cameras can offer a clear glimpse of the killer.

There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction.

There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction.I picked up tall Chrissy on Tuesday morning for a quick BBBJ (and as reviewed elsewhere on the site, she is great) and she told me about what's been going on, actually took me past Jasper and Cumberland where the police crime scene tape was still up. According to her, this is the 4th victim, and the second to be fatally injured. Another victim, still breathing out of a tracheotomy tube, shared her experience with Chrissy. In short, the assailant in question is an African American male, described as short to medium height. He approaches the girls on foot, says he has a safe place to go, but usually takes them to an alley or somewhere else just off the street. His pitch is that he doesn't want them to do a BJ or FS, he wants to go down on them from the back. At that point, with their backs turned, he tries to slash their throat. According to Chrissy, the attack at Jasper and Cumberland occurred the night before (Monday the 18th) so I'm not sure if there's been another attack or she just got the time frame wrong, but she said that the victim here who was killed also had her face smashed in pretty badly, and that the other girl who died had been mutilated (I'll spare the details). This is not the first serial killer we've seen on the streets of Kensington, and hopefully he'll be apprehended soon. These girls have it hard enough without a complete psycho piece of shit taking out his mommy issues on them. Hope he rots in hell.

This victim's name was Rickie Morgan. What her street name is, I don't know. Here's a link with a pic of her, she looks vaguely familiar but I don't think I ever did a date with her. http://www.fox29.com/news/local-news/176825673-story

Because of the kensington slasher there are more LEO decoys out on the streets. If the girl looks TGTBT you might want to pass.

A while back I made the acquaintance of a sex researcher from California, and was a subject in her survey study of older mongers. The study has been published, and here is a press release that goes with the publication:

https://www.springer.com/gp/about-springer/media/springer-select/older-men-who-purchase-sex-do-so-more-frequently-as-they-age/9994978

Does this come as so much a surprise as the author thought? As a young man, I did not monger for long periods when I had a civilian girl friend. Now, my contemporaries are old ladies, lacking the instantaneous attractiveness of younger SGs, and, moreover, mostly uninterested in sex when their hormones no longer function. I am almost disappointed, how typical I am of the unmarried survey subjects.

OMFG! Two of these geniuses consented to searches by police when they knew what was being searched contained drugs?

http://6abc.com/news/3-arrested-$33 m-in-heroin-confiscated-in-philadelphia-bust /1733686/.

investigators at the same property on Bingham Street saw a female, later identified as Roldan, exiting the home with an infant, diaper bag, hand bag, and a container.

Roldan was stopped by police and voluntarily consented to having her car searched.

Officers recovered four racks of glassine packets containing heroin, $5,000 and the container contained 18.4 pounds of heroin. Roldan was taken into custody. Authorities say arrangements were made for family members to take possession of the infant.

Alavarez-Mercedes gave officers consent to search his residence on Bingham Street and they recovered .5 kilograms of heroin, packaging materials and scales. They also found in an upstairs bedroom ledger books, passports for Alavarez-Mercedes and Roldan, and 13 counterfeit $100 bills.

Maybe if they had spent 20-minutes watching the first part of this video they could have avoided 60 years in jail?

Hope youse all don't make the same mistake! Some day if you monger enough, you will encounter Law Enforcement! Will you be prepared?

Today CBS Sunday Morning ran a pretty even-handed story about what kind of laws there ought to be, regarding the hobby. (http://www.cbsnews.com/news/caught-in-the-life-the-business-of-prostitution/#/) (link).

I have posted about that from time to time. I have noticed that a higher and higher proportion of the stories on this board involve tragedy. I frequented Star. (link) She had been a nice girl, who had first gotten hooked on opioids legitimately prescribed. I have rationalized that so long as I treat them well and do not make things any worse, it is not so wrong to go with someone like that. I have been disappointed that no one else has bothered to report that she was brutally murdered a couple of months ago. A nice fellow provider she had introduced me to, told me. RIP!

She was a great human being and a good personal friend. I would have reported that she died but the details surrounding her death are still very sketchy. There are at least three "stories" / Versions of what took place. She died March 27, at the young age of 30. I won't elaborate on what the stories are because that's exactly what they are is stories. I will say this. Those that knew Star / Candace knew a very good and real person. She was a mother, sister, daughter, friend to many of us. She did not "deserve" to die. Not that anyone does. I knew Candace away from the streets. As a real person.

Those that came in contact with her was fortunate as there were very few in the world like her. Aside from her problems she never forgot where she came from. The love she had for her family and the love she had for life itself. She battled and lost her fight in the end. So the rest of the world continues on as it always does. The rest of us move forward and have memories to replace reality of those we lose. Candace, as the rest of us, had her faults and demons. Lets hope that somehow she is in a better place and the demons are few. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.
