    Mercy not Mercer

Sort of like matching a championship heavyweight boxer against a no-name lightweight boxer. It's almost an automatic easy win for Alabama, an obvious mismatch used to "pad" Alabama's record, and of nearly no interest to watch. So, let's change the rules to make such ridiculous mismatches competitive and interesting. My idea would be to make one or more rules changes to reduce a powerful FBS team's overwhelming advantage over a lowly non-FBS team. For example, reduce the number of players that the FBS "bully" team is allowed to have on the field for offense, defense or both; reduce their number of available downs on offense; reduce the number of points they receive for each touchdown and field goal, etc. In my opinion, such rules changes could make that type of game much more fair, competitive and exciting to watch.

That would never work in any collegiate sport. Alabama needs to play more teams in their conference and not only 8. By the way Mercer picked up $600 k to play Bama. If I was UH I would go independent and play any team that wants to play us if the money is worthy. We don't need to win just show up and get paid to play.

What a rout last night. Big Ben continues to play well at home only to struggle on the road. Steelers need him to be consistent if they want to go deep in the playoffs.

So looks like the Boys will be without Zeke for at least the next four games. Think they should have enough talent with McFadden and Morris to keep the defenses honest and not tee off on Dak. It won't be easy because after Atlanta, they got the Eagles, Chargers and Redskins. On the bright they'll be playing the Eagles, Chargers and Redskins all at home.

Another horrible day. I might as well spend money seeing these girls! LOL. Not sure which is more exciting though.

    Monday night football:

I like the lions, but packers at home. No rodgers, and I'm not sure how well hundley will do. Might be pumped up, but I see him causing some turnovers that will be in favor of detroit.

Megatron should come out of retirement!
