    Agree

Nikki, is safe and drama free, definitely worth the extra dinero. I'd rather pay more money, then have to deal with these strung out heroin addicts who are full of drama, scamming and most likely not practising safe sex on a regular basis.

I know nothing of this situation, but I'd bet if you were to ask any of those girls what would happen if they just walked out, they'd say they're not allowed do that. Besides the obvious questions of where would they go, what would they do, how would they meet the basics needs of food & shelter, there is the underlying aspect of a reality in having no choice or freedom. Just saying. Some of the reports on here describe this manifestation. Granted this is a rare thing, but if you read enough reports you'll find them.

Anyway, I agree that "sex trafficking" sounds much worse than "prostitution" so it's used as a media weapon. This is political grandstanding and propaganda. Again, perception is reality. If law enforcement can make the public perceive a threat, then they get the backing they need to obtain funding and create new laws to enforce. Politicians love this crap too. Talking heads spitting words like sex trafficking and sex slavery while law enforcement loves parading mongers for public shame. Whatever sells, I guess. Seems likes it's own special kind of prostitution.
I was about to see this girl for a car date:

She was driven up to the meeting place by her driver or pimp. I drove away. There's absolutely no way I'd willingly participate in that.

But once here, they find the only jobs for people of their background (e. G. Poor English) are things like nail salons, which don't pay well. So they turn to escorting to get the kind of money they wanted, by their own choice.

    Publicity and Hoop-la

You hear this stuff about sex trafficking and how much there is of it going on. I think it's all bull for the most part at least in Wisconsin. I'm sure it goes on in areas where you've got lots of organized crime and drug cartels. And maybe girls that are with pimps. I've never met a girl yet that I thought was being sex trafficked. If I did I'd help her escape, probably 99% of guys here would. I've been suspicious about these girls that speak no English I've read reports on, but going to one of those type places isn't for me. I think its all political grandstanding and about raising money for their own self interests.

Either of those apps is fine. I personally avoided google voice because my google account is tied to everything and google never deletes anything permanently. I would need a separate google account, and that could get tricky when you're using a smartphone with your main google account signed in. Or maybe not, I don't really know for sure, because the Burner app does exactly what I need it to do at a cost that is negligible.

A real burner is too risky. That's what started Walter White's marital downfall.

I don't believe "what I have to lose" has anything to do with it. I don't think it's any safer than most of the free ones and it costs money to use it.
If it's an app on your smartphone, it isn't any better than the free ones. A burner phone would be the way to go if you are worried about staying private. That is until your wife finds it.
My phone is passworded and those apps are hidden. My wife has no idea what I'm doing when she sees me using my phone. If I had a burner phone, I'd only be able to use it when she's not around. That wouldn't work for me.

Google voice is tied to your account, sort of. The other ones are not, except for sideline. I'll still take my chances chances with the free Google voice. I've been using it for at least ten years and don't see any reason to change now. Especially since I'm not really that active anymore.

I use all of those from time to time and they don't need wifi, unless you don't have a data plan. Having a choice of several takes away the need for changing your number. Besides, on most of those free apps, if you don't use them for a month, they let you know that you are going to lose your number if you don't use it. If you lose the number, the next time you try to use it, they assign you a new number.
