He also has a long history of stalking and publishing personal information, places of employment, and residency of alleged working gals. He has multiple alias screen names and 'activist' friends who also post on various threads in order to create chaos and destroy the forum from within. Two of these friends took a pounding last week on another thread. It appears we will not be able to rid the boards of these folks.

You're correct. Unless you're posting and emailing from someplace like the library or Starbucks, you're a court order away from being busted. The courts orders in cases of harassment are easy to get. You just need to take the time. This has already been put in motion so no use is posting about it further.

And yes, I'm a long term client of hers and am in the legal field (no. Not LE) so she sought my help. She actually doesn't want to cause trouble for anyone. Just wants the harassment to stop. It has not stopped so unfortunately we have to deal with it legally.

It's a rather slow process but I've done it before. In about six weeks this guy's going to get a knock on his door.

That's true but he's busted because she has his email address - which reveals his IP. I know a little bit about the situation and am helping her through the legal process.

If it does indeed turn into a criminal complaint the DA could seize his computer and at that point, it's over.
